New Jersey girl, Capri Chanel was first introduced to design in high school when she won a two-year art and design scholarship to Mercer County Community College. With the desire to learn more about design after her senior year, she ventured to Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia. After two years at Moore, Capri transferred to Rutgers University-Mason Gross, in New Brunswick, NJ. Before graduating in 2002 with a BFA in graphic design, Capri received the opportunity to intern participating in creating the opening title sequence for Oscar/Emmy nominated director of Hoop Dreams, Fredrick Marx, on his film, Boys to Men?. This experience allowed her to see the many avenues design could take her.
Capri's career opportunities have led her to work in the radio technology, beauty, and apparel industries. After graduating with her MFA in Advertising from the Academy of Art University, Capri is now an Art Director at Wunderman and Thompson.
